Description

THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT. PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE ON THE DOOR.

Join us for the first Catalyst UK: Leaders conference. This innovative two-day event is an opportunity to gather together for inspiration and equipping for Kingdom Advance. We are also thrilled to announce that Dr Bob Roberts of Northwood Church, Keller, Texas will be joining us as well as Jonathan Le Tocq. Bob has been involved in planting hundreds of churches across the USA, and Jonathan is Minister for External Affairs for the states of Guernsey.

It is a weekend designed with much time to worship together, to be inspired with great teaching and ministry, and to hear stories of all that the Lord is doing through Catalyst around the world. Central to this will be time or us to build friendships and connect with one another, catching up with old friends and making some new ones!

Our purpose for the weekend is to create a place where we can come and be refreshed, and importantly, celebrate all that God has done and is doing. We believe in churches joining together on mission and this is a key moment for us to join together. So we want to encourage you to mark this date in your calendars, book in and make it your priority to come along.

The weekend is for everyone who is in a key leadership position in our churches (perhaps described as the ‘wider leadership team’ of your church) together with those part of us who are leaders in the marketplace. Following on from the acceleration given by Alan Scott’s message at the 2017 Festival we really want this event to support, inspire and encourage our leaders, working both in the church and the marketplace, and will structure our times accordingly.

Speakers

Jonathan Le Tocq - Born in Guernsey, Jonathan studied in Music, French, Philosophy and Theology, which took him to London and Paris. He also qualified in accountancy and for a time worked in London for HMRC in tax fraud investigation, an experience he describes as "the best training for Christian ministry I have ever received!" Elected for four terms in government, Jon has served in various capacities including Home Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and Chief Minister, and now holds the newly created Foreign Affairs role.

Dr. Bob Roberts, Jr. - is the founding and Senior pastor of Northwood Church that he started 31 years ago in Keller, Texas. He has authored articles for major publications and seven books. He trains and speaks at some of the largest churches in the world on engaging their cities and has worked extensively with Muslims and the Middle-East beginning in Afghanistan.

Refreshments

Tea and coffee will be provided on arrival and during breaks. On Friday evening we will provide a light two-course meal. A cash bar will also be available on Friday evening as the plan is to make this session a time of fun together with live entertainment and space to simply relax with friends, old and new.

Please bring a packed lunch for Friday and Saturday

The website www.booking.com is a useful resource as it contains both large chains and smaller hotels.
